Glamping- Lessons for Linens

Glamping- Lessons for Linens

A colleague and I have been attending @glampingshowamericas for 3 consecutive years. It is really interesting for someone who isn't a camper! This show features the latest setups for campsites, including ultra-modern mirrored walls or high-end Conestoga wagons with amenities rivaling a typical 5-star hotel.

We have had full-circle moments when we reunite with attendees who had just purchased land 3 years prior and are scoping out the show for ideas, to current-day grand openings on the horizon.

Three points that continuously pain these site owners are worth sharing, and how we at WestPoint Hospitality overcome those challenges. If you are in the beginning stages of opening a glamping site, learn from others to avoid these pitfalls yourself.

  1. “We buy our products at “insert big box store/ecommerce name” and are not happy with the quality.
  2. “When we need to replace items from “big box store/ecommerce name,” they don’t have the same products we initially bought, and if they do, we have to buy the whole set…we don’t need the whole set.”
  3. “Our products that have color fade over time from the environment or guests.”

Let us help you overcome these issues!

Hospitality Grade Products

Our products are lab tested to ensure they can withstand the rigors of commercial laundering. They are engineered for high-turnover environments! We do not put products into the marketplace unless they meet (in our case, exceed) industry standards.

Product Replacement

ALL products are going to meet their end of life. The likelihood of your product being damaged by a guest is higher than our product wearing out. When you come back for a replacement, it’s here. We have programs that are over 65 years old! This provides you consistency in product AND you can purchase only what you need- you don’t have to buy the whole set. Pillowcases typically wear out the fastest. You can order just pillowcases from us.
