While the best corporate responsibility practices have been part of our DNA for centuries, last year, WestPoint joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative — a voluntary leadership platform for developing, implementing, and disclosing responsible business practices.
This commitment requires the corporation's highest-level executive and is supported by the Board. Additionally, participants must submit an annual Communication on Progress (CoP) detailing their efforts to integrate these principles into their operations. WestPoint is a proud member of a global network committed to taking responsible actions to create the world we all deserve. The UN Global Compact requires companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles, which include: human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
Since joining in 2024, WestPoint has been part of a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders. By adopting a principles-based approach to sustainability, WestPoint is taking shared responsibility for creating a better world.
