Why Use Down Alternatives?

WestPoint Hospitality has been an industry leader for decades. As one of the first textile companies to use recycled water bottles to create fiberfill used in filled bedding, it started as a cost savings and quickly became a standard in the industry.

  1. Hypoallergenic characteristics make it ideal for everyone, especially those with dust mites or natural down allergies.
  2. Animal-Free promotes cruelty and vegan-free
  3. Durable with longer-lasting loft.
  4. Affordable compared to natural fills.
  5. Eco-friendly recycled water bottles to create polyester in the fibers.
  6. Odorless. Unlike natural down, it does not retain smells.
  7. Versatile for weight and warmth
  8. Breathable without overheating
  9. Consistent warmth without losing insulation
  10. Low-maintenance care in a washing machine.
  11. Lower carbon footprint requiring less virgin raw materials to produce.

Our filled goods (Filled Blankets, Pillows, Comforters, Mattress Pads) exclusively use our innovative EcoPure™ fiberfill. EcoPure™ Eco-Friendly Fiber starts with recycled plastic bottles. These bottles are carefully combined under high temperatures to recreate the polyester polymer that is extruded into EcoPure™ Fiber. This hypo-allergenic fiber provides excellent support and softness in our pillows and mattress pads. Its superior thermal properties, when used in our comforters and blankets, provide great warmth in cold conditions.
